We selected Break Thru as The high selling lot of the 2010 Woodhill Farms bull sale. He jumped through all the hoops on paper and in person. We feel he is a real breed changer in that he has the carcass traits that we strive for, in a very moderate frame. Break Thru is as heavy muscled as we can make one. Calves look absolutely tremendous! If you need a bull that will add carcass and downsize your cows all while adding muscle, Break Thru is your obvious choice. We have bred him to several simmy cows and anxiously await his first half blood calves!

Direction was our pick of our Simangus bulls this spring, he has done everything right and has one of my favorite cow families behind him. His sire was our pick of the simangus bulls at Deiters in 2007, and he proved to be a tremondous growth sire with exceptional carcass and great daughters. Directions mother and grandmother are two of our best cows, they are both very moderate with perfect udders and are super sound. his grandmother 91B calved this spring for the 17th year in a row with a 370 day calving interval. Being a paternal brother to Heritage and maternal brother to Wide Design, Wide Prime's pedigree shows much promise in siring performance with muscle and marbling. Wide Prime has proven to be a true performance bull that sires unmatched early growth. He has sired our top selling angus bull for the past three years with no end in sight, he makes them super soggy and thick, and adds a lot of end product value, but best of all he sires problem free cattle with very good dispositions. We calved out the first 7 Wide Prime daughters this spring and thay are awesome, super good mothers with perfect udders and tremondous fleshing ability. Look for his influence if you sell your calves by the pound or finish them out.
